Features, guide, and FAQ

1 Create a ZIP archive

  1. Choose the files to compress with “Choose files” (multiple selection is supported). On a computer, you can also select an entire folder.
  2. To protect the ZIP, enter a password in the “Password” field. If left blank, the archive is created without encryption. Use the eye icon to check your entry.
  3. Select “Create and save ZIP” to download the archive. If you leave the filename blank, the current date and time are used.
⚠️ Caution: If you forget the password, this tool cannot recover the ZIP contents. Store your password securely in case you need it later.

2 Extract a ZIP archive

  1. Select the ZIP file you want to extract.
  2. If filenames appear garbled, try changing “Filename encoding” (auto-detection usually works).
  3. If the ZIP is password-protected, enter the password.
  4. Select “Extract ZIP”.
    • On a computer: A folder picker or a “Download all” button will appear so you can save the files together.
    • On phones (such as iPhone): Phones cannot extract everything to a folder like a computer, so the files appear in a list below. Tap “Save” beside each one to download it individually.

File processing: Files are compressed and extracted in your browser; their contents are not uploaded to Web Toolarium servers. Normal network connections still occur to load the page, external libraries, analytics, and ads.

Notes for phones (such as iPhone): Mobile browsers such as iOS Safari limit batch operations and memory. Very large ZIP files or folders with many files may crash the browser. iOS also restricts bulk downloads, so that option is hidden. Use a computer for large files.
